Terms of use

Version 0.2, 23 August 2026. Shown on first launch; pressing “I accept” means agreement.

  1. What it is.

Synployee Assistant (“the App”) is an assistant for work communications. This is an alpha version: the product is under development and testing.

  2. How it works.

The App reads messages from the WhatsApp, Telegram and Microsoft Teams chats you select on this computer, takes only the chats you ticked, and sends their text to the App's server to produce an answer. The App sends nothing to your messengers and marks nothing as read. Business data is answered in read-only mode.

  3. Data.

The App's server passes chat text to OpenAI (a sub-processor) to produce the answer in no-storage mode (store=false) and does not keep it after the answer. Only a usage log is kept: who, when, token volume. Voice messages are transcribed locally on your computer. You are responsible for having the right to process the chats you select.

  4. Credentials.

Messenger sessions and sign-in tokens are stored only on your computer.

  5. No warranty, no liability.

The App is provided “as is”. The developer does not guarantee the stability, continuity or correctness of the alpha version and accepts no liability for failures, data loss, errors in summaries, or decisions made on their basis. Summaries are generated by AI and may contain errors — verify what matters against the original messages.

  6. Termination.

Access to the server may be switched off at any time. You may stop using the App by deleting it; local data (conversation history, messenger sessions, transcription cache) lives in the App's folder under ~/Library/Application Support and is removed with it.

  7. Changes.

A new version of these terms is shown when the App updates; continued use means agreement.
